Motorists driven round the bend by selfish tearaways
WHY is it that younger people want to stop millions of safe drivers just because of their age? Are they forgetting they will get old? I agree with Peter Smith (Letters, June 21). I have driven motorcycles, HGVs, large vans and cars and passed my test in 1959.
Most elderly drivers are safer than young tearaways. I suggest they hone their driving skills. Terence Matthews, Upminster, London
