BMW i3 (94 AH)

Daily Express - - TOTAL EV -

PRICE: from £27,830 Even though the i3 entered production in 2013 it’s still one of the most futuristic-looking EVs.

As BMW’s first massproduced zero-emissions vehicle, the i3 was designed from the ground up to be as economical as possible.

The latest model – the i3 94 AH – offers a quality interior and an impressive all-electric range of up to 195 miles, which can be increased to 276 miles if you opt for the Range Extender (which adds a small petrol engine to recharge the battery).

This upmarket image and impressive range does come at a price.

PROS:

Futuristic looks, impressive battery range and well-appointed interior.

CONS:

Pricey to buy, only four seats and Range Extender model isn’t a pure EV.
