HYUNDAI IONIQ ELECTRIC

Daily Express - - TOTAL EV -

PRICE: from £24,995 There’s a lot to like about the all-electric version of the Hyundai IONIQ.

Not only does the Korean option boast an eye-catching design but it also comes in a generous standard specification – with sat nav, heated seats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

With five seats, there’s plenty of space for the family and a claimed range of 174 miles will be enough for the average daily commute.

Including the government grant, prices for the IONIQ Electric start at £24,995, so it isn’t too expensive either.

PROS:

Handsome exterior, plenty of room for the family and strong standard spec.

CONS:

Not particularly exciting to drive, limited badge prestige and rivals offer more range.
