Face facts, Dawn’s looks are nothing to do with weight

DAWN French looks stunning in the photos taken to mark her 60th birthday (“At 60, portrait of a dazzling new Dawn”, October 11).

She looks gorgeous and far younger than her years.

However, I don’t think this has anything to do with the fact she has lost weight. She has always had a lovely face whatever size. Natural beauty has nothing to do with your weight. Dawn is one of those ladies who will always look lovely. Lynne English, Wickford, Essex
