Home Office has to get a grip on foreign cheats

WE are told by an ex-DirectorGeneral of immigration enforcement at the Home Office that there were “enormous difficulties” in finding the cheats and returning them overseas (“We can’t kick out 1m illegal migrants”, October 11).

But what is the Home Office going to do about the actual number of illegals, which some estimate runs into millions more?
