Let Strictly stars compete on a level dance floor

Daily Express - - LETTERS -

CRAIG Revel Horwood sings the praises of Alexandra Burke and expects her to be one of the finalists. But it is no wonder he praises her as he previously trained her (“Mollie? It’s Strictly a grade C says Craig but I give an A to Alexandra”, November 14).

Why is she participating in this show when one of the judges has a vested interest?

It is easy to criticise some of the other contestants when they are complete novices, so surely it would be fairer if the contestants started with the same level of experience.

Why are we not shown the viewers’ votes either? Is this another case of the BBC planning the eventual winner? Brian Berry, Waterlooville, Hants
