Resign if you don’t like to support British democracy

SOMEONE should remind our MPs how we voted in the EU referendum (“Ignore the will of the people at your peril”, June 12).

We pay these people to run our country when they seemingly do not even understand what democracy means.

If they feel that strongly about staying in the EU then they should not just resign from the Cabinet but resign their seat altogether as they are not representing the people.

I can’t believe they are saying that the voters did not understand what they were voting for.
