NEW LOOK TAKES YEARS OFF CAROL

LOOSE WOMAN Carol McGiffin reckons far more celebrities over 50 have had facelifts than admit to it. The 58-year-old, who proudly unveiled her own on the ITV talk show last week, says: “What’s the point of hiding it? It’s obvious. I bet a lot of celebs have had it done but just don’t admit to it.”

The former wife of Chris Evans, who had the surgery three weeks ago after feeling her previous treatment for breast cancer had aged her beyond her years, adds: “I don’t know why it’s such a shameful thing [to admit to a facelift]. You might be watching TV thinking ‘What am I doing wrong? How can they look so great at 55?’ and they say ‘Oh, I drink lots of water’ or ‘I wear a sun hat’ and it’s not really doing women any favours…”

Just who could she be referring to we wonder?
