Coleen has ring back on as she jets to US for Wayne showdown

FURIOUS Coleen Rooney has flown to America to read her footballer husband Wayne the riot act.

The former England captain was scorned by his wife after pictures emerged at the weekend of him partying at nightclubs.

Mother-of-four Coleen, 33, took a flight yesterday to Washington, where Wayne plays, to urge him to pack up and come home.

After landing in the US she was seen tight-lipped yet clearly wearing her wedding ring. She was spotted recently in the UK without the ring.

She is said to be embarrassed and upset after he visited two clubs during a stay in Canada, where his team was playing Vancouver Whitecaps.

The latest incident has prompted her to try to force him to rip up his contract and return home to Britain early.

A source said: “Coleen went ballistic at Wayne for being so stupid again. She knows women are all over him on nights out so pleaded with him to stay out of trouble. It makes her feel foolish – especially when he’s vowed to start putting his family first.

“When she landed, Coleen told Wayne to just end his contract and return to the UK with her. She wants him to just pay out and leave. They are so much happier at home.”

Wayne, 33, is due to quit DC United at the end of the Major League Soccer season and join Derby County as a player coach in January. But Coleen wants him to come home now to their children Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three, and 16-month-old Cass.

Wayne is said to have told childhood sweetheart Coleen he would give up drink after a number of alcohol-related incidents, including getting arrested and being caught drink driving another woman’s car.

But he was spotted drinking with other players at a club and was later seen by a hotel lift with a mystery woman.
