CF sufferer Elliott Raynor has had his wish come true when the eight-year-old’s beloved Leicester City stars came to see him in hospital this week.

Elliott, of Thornton, Leics, was all smiles as Brendan Rodgers’ team arrived at Leicester Royal Infirmary bearing gifts.

The lad is pictured above with (left to right) Danny Ward, Justin James, James Maddison, Ben Chilwell (baseball cap), and Matty James (back in grey top).

Elliot showed his sporting heroes his intravenous line, gave them high fives and beamed when midfielder Hamza Choudary gave him a bear hug.

Elliott said: “It was really exciting to see the players up close instead of far away on the pitch and they were really kind.”

His mother April Raynor said: “All the players signed his shirt for him. When they entered the ward there was a real buzz and the smiles on the kids’ faces was a joy.”
