7.30PM, RADIO 3 Bach spent around 20 years, on and off, composing his Mass In B minor. It is considered by many, not without reason, to be one of the greatest musical works of all time. It will be performed by the choral group Les Arts Florissants, with the soloists Katherine Watson, Tim Mead, Andre Morsch and Reinoud Van Mechelen, this evening.
