15 YEARS AGO – EASTENDERS

In one of the all-time classic soap scenes Zoe Slater shouted at ‘sister’ Kat Slater, ‘You ain’t my mother!’ only for Kat to screech back, ‘Yes I am!’. Zoe (above) was shocked to discover her father was ‘Uncle’ Harry, who’d got Kat pregnant when she was just 13.

20 YEARS AGO – EMMERDALE

Kathy Glover suffered yet another failed romance, this time with Sean Rossi. Following a break-in at the tearooms, employee Sean was arrested. It turned out he was innocent, and he was so upset Kathy hadn’t believed him that he left town.
