Kurt Russell is Wyatt Earp, looking to bring law and order to the Wild West, while Val Kilmer is surprisingly good as an ailing Doc Holliday.

A revenge comedy as ditzy and watchable as its star attraction, Goldie Hawn. She is the snooty heiress who crosses honest carpenter Kurt Russell – but it’s Russell who has the last laugh when she topples off her yacht and loses her memory, and he manages to convince her she’s his hick wife.

Sheridan Smith, Kate Nash and Jaime Winstone are among the lairy lasses parading through a nightclub loo on a big night out. It’s actually rather thrilling to see into the women’s secret world, where relationships play out unselfconsciously. Billed as – but not quite – the British Bridesmaids, it’s good enough.
