Kate Beckinsale returns, all guns blazing, as the catsuited vampire Selene in this fourth instalment of the fantasy series. Set in a future where humans are the hunters, it is creaky and hurried, like the other films. Yet, despite its faults, this series inspires great loyalty among its fans.
