This is a shockingly honest radio talk. Katie Edwards is a lecturer in biblical studies. Despite her beliefs as a Christian, she finds it difficult to accept the silent suffering exemplified by Christ before Pilate. Katie looks back to her childhood, and recalls something terrible that happened to her group of school friends. They all kept silent about what was done to them, never even speaking about it to each other. It is only recently that Katie has looked back on events, and realised that their silence was both wrong and deeply harmful.
