Men’s brains ARE different!

I’M SURE the people behind new research allegedly proving there is no material difference in the way male and female brains function are terribly clever — but they’re clearly talking hokum.

If, as they claim, ‘human brains cannot be categorised into two distinct classes — male and female’, then how do they explain the following:

THE inability of the male to understand that when the female is upset and asks for his help what she really wants is his reassurance and understanding — not a five-point plan for putting her tax affairs in order.

THE inability of the human female to accept a compliment without asking, a few minutes later: ‘Do you really like my new shoes/hair/lipstick?’

THE inability of the male brain to send effective instructions to his arm, instructing it to hang up a wet towel.

THE inability of the female to accept that quiche and salad do not constitute a meal.

THE inability of the male to understand that domestic appliances, however high-end, are not gifts.

THE inability of the female to understand that when a man says what he would really like for Christmas is a fishing rod, what he really wants is a new fishing rod, and not, for example, a puppy or a shopping trip to New York.
