SHE is one of the world’s richest sports stars and is said to be worth more than £120 million.
But that has hasn’t stopped Serena Williams walking off with scores of Wimbledon towels.
The 34-year-old world number one is said to be their biggest fan and is known to take up to eight towels per match.
George Spring, Wimbledon’s court attending manager, said: ‘Serena is a legend as far as towels go and she would have to buy a second house [to fit them in].’
Andy Murray said his wife Kim, 28, also collects the towels, which can be bought by the public online and at Wimbledon for £29.
