Seeing double: Bond star’s son is spit of dad
WHAT do James Bond star sir Roger Moore and the late Duke of Marlborough have in common? Judging by a Berlin 1989themed party in Mayfair on Thursday night, they’re both now victims of identity theft thanks to their near identical-looking sons.
Guests did a double-take as they clapped eyes on Geoffrey Moore, the son of 88-year- old sir Roger and his ex-wife Luisa Mattioli, and Jamie spencer-Churchill, who inherited the dukedom of Marlborough from his father John, who died two years ago.
Geoffrey, 50, who co-founded hush Restaurant in London, was the spitting image of his father in the 1983 Bond film Octopussy as he wore a similar white dinner jacket and black bow tie. Meanwhile Jamie, 60, above left, whose former partyloving antics earned him his ‘black sheep’ label, was a dead ringer for his father — though perhaps slightly more bloated in the face.
