Conte: I want 20 years at Chelsea

- SAMI MOKBEL

ANTONIO CONTE wants to emulate Arsene Wenger by staying 20 years at Chelsea. Conte faces Wenger today in the final Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium before the Frenchman marks his 20th year as Arsenal manager. Asked if he would like to be at Stamford Bridge for two decades, Conte said: ‘Yes. It’s fantastic if someone is able to stay for 20 years at the same club.’ Meanwhile, the Italian boss hinted he is set to hand Cesc Fabregas his first Premier League start of the season. The Spain midfielder has made just three substitute appearances in the league, leading to speculation that his Chelsea days are numbered. But he scored twice after starting in the 4-2 EFL Cup win over Leicester on Tuesday. ‘He played a good game in the EFL Cup,’ said Conte. ‘It’s possible he can start.’ Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is due back in training after being out since February with a knee injury.
