Pippa’s marshmallows for her wedding guests

- Daily Mail Reporter

PIPPA Middleton’s wedding was a classically English affair, from her elegant high-necked gown to the country church in Berkshire.

When it came to the wedding favours, however, she broke with tradition, it has been revealed.

Instead of the usual sugared almonds, she is reported to have treated the 350 guests who attended her wedding breakfast last weekend to personalised marshmallows.

It is understood the treats featured Pippa and her new husband James Matthews’s initials.

They may have been supplied by her younger brother James Middleton’s company Boomf, according to Hello! magazine’s website.

The gift company offers a box of six personalised marshmallows for

£10, or nine for £15. Boomf suffered losses of £930,000 in 2015 and was forced to take out a £500,000 bank loan in May last year.

But Pippa’s new husband has invested £100,000 in the company, buying more than 12,800 shares.
