BEAUTY SLEEP

SHEET masks are a great way of locking moisture into your skin. I’m currently trying Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Recovery Powerfoil (£14.85, johnlewis.com), but I love experimenting with new brands. I use them once a week, just before bed. This has been known to give my husband quite a scare!

JUICY FRUIT

I NEVER used to eat breakfast, as I don’t like the feeling of a heavy meal early in the morning. However, now that I’m busier than ever, I need to start the day with a high-energy boost. Four years ago I found the perfect solution: juicing my own smoothies. My favourite combination is strawberries, blueberries, banana and cashew nuts — which make it extra thick and add protein, keeping me fuller for longer.

HELLO SUNSHINE

A POSITIVE attitude affects how we look more than anything else. I try to reflect this in the way I dress. I love bright, zingy colours: corals, limes and yellows. These work really well when paired with simple blacks or whites. Mango and Zara are my go-to shops for this look.

GET IN THE MOOD

AS YOU get older, it’s crucial to keep learning. I set regular one, three and six-month goals, then use visualisation techniques (colourful mood boards and incentives) to achieve them. For example, when it was my aim to speak at a conference of 3,000 people, I stuck photos of the venue, and of my reward (a pair of pointy black Chanel shoes) on the wall.

HEAD START

I ALWAYS begin the day with exercise — both for the mind and body. A minitrampoline is great for this (£34.99,

tesco.com): I get up at six every morning and bounce for 30 minutes. It is so much fun and I use this ‘me time’ to think positively about everything I am grateful for in life.
