Bake Off star won’t make her own wedding cake

Great British Bake Off reigning champion Candice Brown, 32, rules out making her own wedding cake if she ever ties the knot with boyfriend Liam Macaulay, a former convicted drug dealer.

‘No definitely not!’ says the master baker, known for her love of bright lipstick as well as her delicious bakes. ‘I’ve baked two wedding cakes for other people. With the most recent one, Liam came home and I was just sat there on the floor, having a nightmare with red velvet fondant.

‘He was like: “OK, I’ll just give you a minute.” So, no I won’t!’

Candice feels far more comfortable doing her own makeup, however. ‘My favourite [lipstick] is a Hollywood red, that classic bright matte red,’ she says.
