Daughter’s lost tan spurs Nolito move

-

NOLITO has confirmed that he wants to leave Manchester City and go home to the Spanish sunshine, saying: ‘My daughter’s face has changed colour — it looks like she’s been living in a cave.’ The 30-year-old Spain striker (right) was one of Pep Guardiola’s first recruits when signing from Celta Vigo for £13.8million last summer. Sevilla want Nolito on loan but City prefer a permanent deal and hope to recoup about £12m. Nolito rejected interest from Barcelona to choose City in the hope of more game time but he started just 16 matches. He admits struggling with English and adapting to the Manchester weather — which has affected daughter Lola. ‘I have learnt very little English. It’s hard,’ he told Spanish radio station El Transistor. Apart from Lola’s faded tan, Nolito was left out of the Spain squad and feels that returning home will improve his chances of playing in the World Cup next summer.
