MOSS GEMS FALL FLAT WITH THEO

CELEBRITY jeweller Theo Fennell casts doubt on Kate Moss’s future as a jewellery designer after she launched her first line last month.

Her collection features garnet and black diamond earrings at £3,200 each.

‘My feeling is that as I don’t model, I wouldn’t be very good at modelling, and so I don’t know how good she’ll be in the jewellery business,’ says Fennell.

‘It’s not something anyone can just do because they want to. But we’ll see. I think I should say no more.’

Fennell, however, remains optimistic about his own future following news that his company crashed into administration.

‘It’s going all right. I can’t say very much at the moment but with any luck, we’ll be able to do what I want to do, rather than what I was having to do,’ he adds.
