Demi’s dazzling dentures! Actress still smiling after losing two teeth ‘to stress’
DRESSED in a stunning gown and flashing her dazzling smile, she was the picture of Hollywood glamour on the red carpet this week.
But Demi Moore has revealed a secret behind her seemingly perfect straight teeth – she is missing two. The actress, 54, said she suffered so badly from stress she broke her front teeth and has to wear dentures.
Showing a picture of herself with one false tooth removed on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on Monday, she said: ‘I sheared off my front teeth. I’d love to say it was skateboarding or something cool, but it’s something that’s important to share, because I think it’s one of the biggest killers in America, which is stress.’ The star, who wore a rainbow Dior dress at the premiere of her film Rough Night in New York on Monday, said her three daughters think her tooth loss makes her ‘more human’.
Dr Anthony Zybutz, who runs Harley Street dental clinic TDC, said stress can be ‘an indirect cause of tooth loss’ as grinding your teeth too much can cause them to snap off.
