is almost no piece of bad news which Remainers and their allies at the BBC can’t try to pin on Brexit. This week it was a sharp fall in the number of EU nurses registering to work in the NHS. We can only imagine why such little attention was given to a more likely explanation: the drop coincided with new, more challenging English tests to ensure staff can actually communicate with each other and their patients.
