Daily Mail owners donate £100k
THE Daily Mail’s owners, DMGT, are giving £100,000 to a charity coordinating efforts to help those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
DMGT chairman Lord Rothermere and CEO Paul Zwillenberg announced the money will go to the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation, DMGT’s local charity partner.
The company will also match donations by employees up to a total of £50,000 and support staff who wish to help at relief centres. The gutted block is two miles from the Mail’s offices in Kensington.
Readers can donate via the charity’s website — https://thekandcfoundation.com/donate — or by cheques payable to ‘The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation’ and sent to: Grenfell Tower Appeal, The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation, 111–117 Lancaster Road, London W11 1QT.
