Most sheds have Wi-Fi
YOU’D expect a garden shed to have tools, a lawn-mower and probably a cobweb or two.
But now it seems there’s a new essential for the bottom of the garden – internet access.
Some 53 per cent of sheds have Wi-Fi, while only 25 per cent have a wheelbarrow, a survey of 1,001 found.
The change comes as 28 per cent of Britons now use their shed as a space for a hobby rather than gardening, according to research for Cuprinol.
Some 48 per cent said they felt more productive working outside. Environmental psychologist Lily Bernheimer said that views of nature and natural ventilation improve productivity.
