ORIENT SAVIOURS CLOSE TO A DEAL

THE Leyton Orient takeover which will end the disastrous three-year reign of Francesco Becchetti is close to completion. A consortium involving Boston-based businessman Nigel Travis, a life-long Orient fan who was born close to their ground in east London, is understood to be finalising a deal to buy the club, who were relegated from the Football League for the first time last season.
