LOSS is something we all have difficulty with, and splashing about emotion is sometimes not a help, but a hindrance, in figuring out how we can best deal with what has happened. Theresa May is of the generation that, unlike many today, thinks grief and emotions are private and not common currency.

It’s not lack of feeling, but comes from the desire not to make things worse. Let’s not cheapen human tragedy with politics.
