PRECIOUS metals explorer Greatland Gold rose yesterday after reporting an ‘outstanding’ gold discovery at its base in the Paterson region of Western Australia.

The firm’s peer, Antipa Minerals, found high-grade gold after digging at its Minyari Dome Project, just 20 miles away from Greatland’s site.

Greatland Gold recently doubled its landholding in the Paterson region.

Shares rose 7.5pc, or 0.05p, to 0.62p.
