- Alastair Bathgate, 53 Chief executive, Blue Prism Group

ALASTAIR Bathgate, the chief executive of Blue Prism Group, has cashed in £5.8m worth of shares in the robot workforce firm on the back of its strong performanc­e so far this year. Bathgate, who co-founded Blue Prism in 2001, sold 650,000 shares in his holding, at 800p each.

Following the sale he still owns 5.7m shares in the firm, about 9.1pc of its total float. Bathgate, 53, from Manchester, is an avid Manchester City supporter and runs a wine blog called Confession­s of a Wino.
