IF YOU’VE been feeding container plants with generalpurpose fertiliser, switch to a highpotash product. Most plants change their growth habits after the longest day and will flower more profusely if their potassium

intake is increased. Tomato fertilisers provide the right balance of nutrients for this time of year. If you already use high-potash feed, continue with the same product. And if you use slowrelease products such as Osmocote granules, check the instructions.
