Royals go off the boil

Oh Penny Junor, what have you done? your hagiography of Camilla in the Daily Mail has left me with a picture of a woman so perfect as to be blameless for anything, including serial adultery, and of a man so stuffed with selfimportance and given to petulant explosive outbursts that everyone must give him his own way, always.

Most of all, your piece has convinced me that these two probably deserve each other, but that we, as a nation, probably don’t deserve them as our future heads of the realm.

With their history, can they really deliver what Prince harry has described as monarchy ‘ for the greater good of the people?’

I doubt this was Penny’s intention, but that’s the way she’s left me feeling.
