Busy BBC Kate’s snip, snap, snooze

BBC newsreader Kate Silverton is a dab hand when it comes to multi-tasking.

The glamorous 46-year-old posted this picture of herself cradling threeyear-old son Wilbur while getting her hair styled in her kitchen as she lunched on an M&S egg mayo sandwich.

‘Mummy life,’ she captioned the snap online. ‘Multi-tasking.’

Two years ago she was criticised for admitting she brought her then-baby daughter, Clemency, to work.

Kate said: ‘I probably create a load of havoc in my wake bringing my children to work. But if you are calm, the baby is calm — it can be done.

‘It challenges this perception that children should not be seen.’
