A designer baby on Instagram

DESIGNER Ashley Hicks’s lively 2015 nuptials with American fashionista Kata de Solis (circled) were described as ‘ society’s first Instagram wedding’ as they met on the picture-sharing website.

Now Hicks, 53, whose grandpa was the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, has used the same site to announce that Kata, 35, is expecting their first child.

‘You’ve either had a big breakfast, Mum, or there’s something you’re not telling us!’ Ashley wrote next to the snap.

He has two daughters with his first wife, fashion designer Allegra Hicks, who is 20 years older than Kata.
