PRINCESS Diana’s newly single niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, is spending the summer learning how to be a perfect housewife — just weeks after her three-year relationship with 45-year-old property tycoon Niccolo Barattieri came to an end.

The 26-year-old blonde has been posting pictures online from The Hamptons in Long Island, New York, where she is staying with friends, as she brushes up her baking and mixology skills — all the while being dressed in designer gear including a £320 Melissa Odabash lace kaftan.

‘My first-ever banana cream pie,’ she writes, describing herself as a ‘ housewife in the making’.

She later made cocktails while wearing a pair of baby- blue Dolce & Gabbana stilettos.
