Dunkirk hero misses out

I SAW Dunkirk this week and was deeply moved. Yet the family of the hero who manned the crucial pier in the evacuation, James Clouston, is upset he was airbrushed from the film and replaced by Kenneth Branagh playing a fictional character. Branagh and Clouston have one thing in common — missing out on top honours. The actor has won three BAFTAs but never an Oscar.
