WILSON IS FOUR-SOME FOR ENGLAND

- WILL KELLEHER

KAY WILSON scorched past Spain to score four tries in England’s World Cup opener. The 25-year-old wing completed a hat-trick in 32 minutes and scored another after half-time as the Red Roses racked up 10 tries in a crushing Dublin display. They eventually won 56-5 with other scores from Meg Jones, Emily Scarratt, Harriet Millar-Mills, Alex Matthews, Amy Cockayne and Lydia Thompson. Wales, meanwhile, were hammered 44-12 by New Zealand and hosts Ireland beat Australia 19-17.
