Perfect 10 again for England

ENGLAND notched up their second straight 10-try win yesterday by overpowering Pool A rivals Italy 56-13. Full-back Danielle Waterman scored a hat-trick and centre Emily Scarratt and winger Lydia Thompson went over twice each as a much-changed England side followed Wednesday’s 56-5 win against Spain in style at Billings Park, Dublin. England meet the United States, who beat Spain 43-0 yesterday, in a pool decider on Thursday and Scarratt said: ‘It was a pretty good day. There’s plenty to improve on for a big game against the USA. ‘We had some good spells and players stepped up and showed what they can do.’
