BURNLEY LAND 30-GOAL WOOD IN £15M DEAL

BURNLEY have sealed the £15million signing of striker Chris Wood from Leeds. The 25-year-old sat out Leeds’ win at Sunderland on Saturday and travelled instead for a medical in Lancashire. The New Zealander, who scored 30 goals last season, has agreed a four-year contract worth £35,000 a week. Leeds had hoped to agree a new contract with Wood (left).
