New releases DOWN to four harmonies after last year’s departure of Camila Cabello, this American girl-group strike a generic note on an album dominated by the digital bleeps of modern dance. The ten slight songs here breeze by in 33 minutes, but an overall fluffiness is redeemed by the MC Hammersampling booty call of He Like That, an appealing detour into Nineties R&B on Deliver, and a timely appeal for racial unity on Bridges. ★★★✩✩
