SIR MO FARAH won his final track race at the Diamond League final in Zurich, clinching victory in a closely-fought 5,000 metres. ‘I wanted to win, and it is amazing that I have won, but it was hard work,’ said Farah. ‘I will miss the track, the people, my fans. Muktar Edris over the same distance at London’s World Championsh­ips earlier this month, but last night he edged out Edris who stumbled and came third in a photo finish with second-placed American Paul Chelimo. Great Britain’s CJ Ujah pipped Ben Youssef Meite to win the 100m in a season’s best 9.97. World champion Justin Gatlin was fourth in 10.04. It was Ujah’s fifth win of the season on the Diamond League circuit.
