SPEAKING of taking offence (see elsewhere), today’s edition of Where Do They Find These People? stars the Lib Dem MP Norman Lamb. He has been moaning about Poundland selling packets of chocolate-covered peanut sweets called Nutters. This is despite the fact that they’ve been on sale for 12 months without a single complaint. Nutty Norman said the name was insulting to those suffering from mental health issues. ‘The product needs to be quickly withdrawn from sale and Poundland needs to apologise.’ Nurse!
