Death risk in the U.S.

-

FOLLOWING the massacre in las Vegas, the only way the U.s. will ever tighten its gun control legislation is if the rest of the world refuses to visit the country on the grounds that the U.s. government cannot guarantee their safety.

if the americans want to kill each other, that’s their right. But they have no rights under the second amendment to kill the rest of us.

MICHAEL TINN, nottingham.

VISITING nebraska a few years ago, i went to a supermarket and couldn’t find any alcohol. so i stopped an attendant and asked him where the beer aisle was.

‘sir,’ he replied, ‘this is a family supermarket. We don’t stock alcohol.’

yet, looking over his shoulder, i could see rows and rows of guns for sale, with boxes of ammunition stacked beneath them.
