Racing mourns Ken
TRAINER Amanda Perrett says her stable has been inundated with condolences after the tragic accident at Kempton on Saturday which claimed the life of her groom, Ken Dooley.
‘I’ve had condolences from around the world,’ said Perrett. ‘Racing was Ken’s life. He was one of those 4.30 in the morning guys, always cheerful, never anything but a great big grin on his face. One of the world’s enthusiastic guys.’
Intermodal, who Dooley had looked after for two years, was unplaced at Windsor yesterday in the Pride of Biffa Handicap.
