GOLD DEAL

Shares in Acacia Mining soared after a deal with the Tanzanian government to resolve a long-running dispute. Its owner, Barrick Gold, will hand over a 16pc stake in three gold mines, a 50pc share of revenues from those mines and a payment of £227.8m.
