TOO good to miss! So off I went, with a new £5 note in my hand. I was early, expecting a large queue outside WH Smith. But, no, straight in! And then — not a slice of beef or pork in sight. No roast potatoes, no Yorkshire pudding, just books, books, books. What a let-down! Seen in a Sunday newspaper: ‘Get Mary Berry Family Sunday Lunches for just £5 at WH Smith.’
