French bag UK boost

LONGCHAMP has more than doubled its profits in the UK. The French luxury leather goods brand – whose fans include Duchess of Cambridge – said the UK division’s performance in 2016 was good ‘despite the economic crisis’. The division reported a profit for 2016 of £836,668, compared to £392,988 in 2015, and turnover of £15m compared to £8.6m the year before.
