SHARES in bargain retail group B&M have soared steadily over the past year, from around 241p last November to 412.4p (up 1.3pc or 5.2p) yesterday. The group sold £656.3m worth of goods during the three months to the end of July, up from £554.8m on the same period last year, with 7.3pc like-for-like sales growth in the UK.

With its next results out on November 14, analysts at Investec predict further gains in market share and have a ‘buy’ rating on the stock.
